When the Las Vegas-based giant casino resort announced the opening of its debut branch in the UAE, it caught the attention of everyone—from residents and frequent visitors to those interested in the rapidly growing real estate market of the region. The construction contract was awarded to the Dubai Investment Corporation’s subsidiary, ALEC Engineering and Contracting. Marjan awarded the contract to ALEC in collaboration with RAK Hospitality Holding and Wynn Resorts Limited. Meanwhile, Bauer International will be responsible for piling and installation works. The main attraction of the complex will be the casino, covering over 18,500 square meters. According to the resort’s management, the casino in the United Arab Emirates will be larger than Wynn’s branch in Las Vegas.
